I'm all about a sense of humor, a taste of sarcasm, but I can take things seriously when I need to. Music is extremely important to me, it's a very significant, defining part of who I am. If I'm your friend, I try my best to be the most loyal and genuine one I can. I take care of my friends. I put the people I care about ahead of myself. I don't argue, I talk. I'm not mean, I'm understanding. It's all about the people you meet, the people you love, and the experiences and memories you make. Not how much money you earn, how much sleep you get, or anything that you would regret missing out on to do something else when you are looking back at the age of 90. I've made mistakes, but I don't soak in them, I learn from them. I've tripped and fallen in puddles and ditches, but I get right back up and next time I'll only get up faster. I'm honest and true to who I am. I'm passionate. Not the sharpest knife in the drawer all the time, but I like to think I make up for it. In the worst of the worst situations, when you couldn't feel anything could possibly get any worse, remember...you're still alive. And that's enough reason to celebrate the rest of the day. I am 28 single Mom who loves life.. I have a precious little boy who is 5 1/2, he started kindergarten in August.. They really grow up so fast..I workout about 3- 5 times a week. I grew up in a small town in Southeast Arkansas with the population of 883 people. I just had to get outta there. I had been to Conway twice and thought that would be a cool town. So I literally took all the money I had to my name, about $300, packed my stuff, and left. I replied to an add to an apartment and started living there. Found a job about a month later (and i still have that job to this day, exactly one year later) I literally didn't know a single person in Conway. And even now I only know a few people. Thats basically the story of how I got from A to B.

My self-summary?? Im having trouble with this. I don't really know what to put here but I will give it a shot. Im kinda tall, kinda skinny. I have dark hair, dark eyes, and medium skin. Hey! Sorry, if you read it and it doesn't make sense....lol Just ask me if you want to know something. I'm 25 years old. I'm of mixed race...Mexican and Caucasian. The funny thing is I can't speak or understand Spanish very good. I'm actually learning Spanish now and it is difficult.
Some of the things I like are watching movies, not the scary ones. Of course all the "chick flicks". I don't know that I have a favorite one. I like music. I love animals. I have a cat and dog. I love to dance (though unfortunately, I'm told I dance like a stripper. I don't mean to, but there you have it),
I tend to dislike drama, (any attempts to turn my life into the jerry springer show would be frowned upon, I spent three years there, and won't do it again.)
I despise retail (I'm currently a helpful hardware guy, it's not the worst thing I've ever done, but sometimes I think I might rather be artsy and starve)

I love engaging intelligent conversation (usually over coffee.)
I'm not terribly sociable (crowds make me edgy, and drunken idiots get on my nerves. I can and Do manage, but I'd probably rather be at home, curled up on the couch)
I have a fondness for wine, cheese pizzas, and watching the same sci fi/fantasy movies over and over again.
I have a love of adventure.
Several of my friends are convinced that I'm some incarnation of The Pan (actually, several people I hardly know are convinced I'm some incarnation of The Pan... hmph. Guess that's what I get for growing up at a summer camp)
I may be a little too odd at times for the muggles (Charles de Lint and Neil Gaiman define my world quite nicely. Oh, I use words like "muggles", and mean it),
I'm quite friendly and likable (I do tend to be moody at times though). Contrary to how this profile probably makes me sound, I do, in fact, have social skills, and am a rather well rounded, rational individual.
I drink too much coffee, and I smoke too much.
Why am I bothering with this again? Same reason any of us are- Dating sucks, especially once you hit your late twenty's/early thirties. The world of Get up, go to work, go home, eat something, go to bed, do laundry on your day off- is not conducive to meeting people of similar interest, especialy if you're not thrilled with the prospect of subjecting yourself to the seething throng of pointless humanity that is the bar scene. We who don't quite fit (or care to) tend to be at a loss when it comes to meeting each other, for there is no "Place" we hang out, and we usually find it difficult to connect even if we happen to run across each other due to the adverse social conditioning of being an interesting individual in an homogeneous culture of ignorance.

Well, theres not really too much to say. I guess I am a fun person although I have the tendacy to be quite shy. I like people who arent afraid to be themselves because I constantly act like a dork and I like to be around laid back people just like me. I like rock music, tattoos, sweet movies, corny romance attempts, I love to laugh and giggle, and I love people who make me laugh. I like going to a football game, and taking pictures by the lake, hanging out doing nothing, and inside jokes. I dont like immaturity but you have to be able to have some fun every now and then. Im looking for someone who can be there for me when i need someone to talk to, someone who accepts and loves me for who i am and not who they think i should be. Im looking for somone to sweep me off my feet and prove to me that there are guys out there who are honest and sincere. Someone to cuddle with and watch a movie, or go out and have some fun with. I love adventures and find that mundane daily activities into them. I love to laugh. I'm sensitive to energy and don't like to be around negative people. I'm a vegetarian but I love seafood. I don't think I could ever live more than a half hour from a body of water. Nothing soothes me like waves and moonlight recharges me. I'm 420 friendly.
